Quilting
I have been quilting and here are a couple customer quilts...
A homespun was used for the border fabric. Love her choice of colors and her piecing is very precise. SID (stitch-in the ditch) helps to accentuates her perfect piecing.
A Christmas Quilt...check out the border.
Happy Thanksgiving Day
Happy Thanksgiving!
I knitted a little turkey dishrag. (click on link to free pattern). These are the best dishrags and so easy and quick to make. You can whip one up in a couple hours. This one will be a gift for my sister-in-law.
These Five Layer Bars are for dessert today.
Don't these look good?
Here's the recipe:
1 1/2 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
1 stick of butter, melted.
1 cup: chocolate, butterscotch morsels, shredded coconut
1/2 cup pecans
1 can sweetened condensed milk.
9 x 13 pan. Mix cracker crumbs and butter to make the crust. Top with the morels, coconut and nuts. pour the condensed milk on top and bake 350-degrees for about 30 minutes. Wait until completely cool before cutting into bars. Mmmmmmm yummy.
We've had a busy month. My DH (dear husband) was in the hospital a couple times, but he is recovering and we are blessed and thankful.
We also celebrated Cooper's 1-Year birthday in November. Here is the traditional birthday cheeseburger! He thought it was great!
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. "...O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever." (Psalm 30:12)
